>>> Missing favorites and loosing settings between upgrades
« on: April 05, 2017, 07:54:16 PM »
If you are using Windows 10 version of One Commander distributed by the Microsoft Store this issue may happen between version upgrades.

Bad news is that Windows system is responsible to upgrade program settings and it is a platform/store bug  :-\

Good news is that your favorites and settings are not lost and can be upgraded in a different way.

One Commander will search settings directory and try to manually import everything if it detects existing settings on upgrade.
But, in case that does not work, please go to Settings > Experimental > Import Settings
and you will get a list of all versions you had on your system, and you can import from one of the previous versions.

You will need to restart One Commander. If it does not start, kill it in Task Manager (or restart the computer). You should have your settings again.

Sorry for the improvisation. I will fix the need for killing OC process in one of the next updates.

Please let me know if you have issues upgrading.
